(Q) How long will it take to set my account up?
(A) We try to give ourselves up to an hour to set up accounts just to be on the safe side but normally, accounts are usually set up within 30 minutes or less.

(Q) Do you offer free setup?
(A) Absolutely!. There is never an extra fee for setting up and activating your account outside of the regular monthly payment under the plan you have chosen.

(Q) What's your support like?
(A) Too many hosts are "friendly" to you before the sale but then soon forget about you after they have your money. We don't play those games here. We realize that when you or your customers are having problems, time is everything. That's why we are passionate about providing prompt and personal support to resolve any problems you may have. We have enough sense to know that if we provide you with good service, chances are you'll stick around for a long time and even tell your friends about us;-).

(Q) What methods of payment do you accept?
(A) We accept payment by Visa, Discover, American Express, Master Card, Debit card and electronic check via PayPal.

(Q) Why PayPal?
(A) PayPal is a secure and widely accepted method of processing transactions over the internet but we understand that some of our customers might want to pay by other means. If you would rather not use PayPal, you are welcome to pay by personal check or money order. To do this, simply fill out a ticket at our Help Desk and let us know so we can set up your new account in advance.

(Q) What happens after I sign up?
(A) You will receive two (2) emails. The first one you receive will be a receipt from our payment processor. A short while later (usually an hour or less), you will receive a second email (from us) containing your account details. Please be sure to keep this email in a safe place in case you need to refer to it later.

(Q) Can I use my new account right away?
(A) Certainly. However, As with any new host, for the first few days you will need to access your account, upload and work with your files through a temporary IP address we will provide you in the welcome email. Once your domain resolves on our server, you will then be able to access your domain by simply typing it into your browser.

(Q) Do you place pop-ups, banners or other ads on my site?
(A) Never.

(Q) Can I see a demo of my CPanel?

(Q) Do you have Fantastico?
(A) Yes, we are pleased to announce that we do. Fantastico comes with every account and allows easy, one-click installation of a variety of scripts.

(Q) What type of servers do you host on?
(A) Our servers are state of the art 2U Intel Dual XEON 2.4GHz, 2x512KB cache, 2.0GB ECC RAM, 2x80GB drives and Hardened secure Kernel. These extremely powerful servers are located in the NAC datacenter, using only Premium NAC bandwidth. No DCJN bandwidth used. Reliability, extreme uptime and fanatical support is our focus and total obsession. The combination of 2U Intel Dual XEON 2.4GHz, 2GB ECC RAM servers and Premium NAC bandwidth, makes for an extremely reliable hosting platform. (Q) What do I get with my account?
(A) All accounts come with a variety of features including a shopping cart, private CGI-BIN, preinstalled scripts, PHP/MySQL, Fantastico, Front Page support and many more. You can read about them and choose the one that best fits your needs by clicking on the link below...

(Q) Why don't your plans come with xxxxxxx Gigs of bandwidth?
(A) Hosting companies that sell you huge amounts of bandwidth for just a few dollars per month (or "unlimited" bandwidth) are often employing a tactic known in the industry as overselling. They can safely offer something like 500G of data transfer per month knowing that the average user seldom consumes more than a gig or two per month (if that). In most cases, the host will have a contingency plan in place so that if you do go over the "real" amount, they simply purchase extra bandwidth from their provider and write you off as a loss, pressure you to upgrade -or- in some (dishonest) cases, fabricate an excuse and terminate your account. We don't operate like that here. We'd rather not inflate our bandwidth limits and have fewer customers than mislead them and end up with unhappy customers down the road.

(Q) Do you have an up-time guarantee?
(A) Yes. 99.9%. Nothing is ever 100% and your site may be down for very brief periods during routine server maintenance. This is normal for any hosting service.

(Q) Do you offer LIVE support?
(A) We sure do. Our live support button is located in the very lower-left corner of each page. If no operators are present, please do leave a message and let us know how we can help you. Your needs are important to us!.

(Q) Is there a minimum yearly contract?
(A) Never. All hosting services are provided on a monthly basis and we offer convenient, recurrent (automatic) billing which begins on the same date you signed up.

(Q) Where is your Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)?
(A) Our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is located here...

(Q) Do you host adult sites?
(A) No we do not.

(Q) Can I resell space under my account?
(A) For security reasons and to limit the amount of resource usage on the servers and make sure everything runs smoothly for everyone, we ask that customers refrain from providing space under their accounts (for example; offering FTP space, - Remote Hosting -, MySQL databases, subdomain hosting or reselling portions of their account or making them available for others to use).

(Q) Do you provide backups?
(A) We don't automatically provide scheduled backups for each account but there is a backup feature available from your control panel. It's very easy to use but if you need help with it for any reason, please let us know so we can accommodate you.

(Q) Who is responsible for registering/transferring my domain?
(A) You are responsible for registering and/or transferring your domain and providing your registrar with our name servers (contained in the welcome email) but we will be happy to assist you in this process should you need help.

(Q) Do you host international domains?
(A) Yes, we do.

(Q) Do you provide Windows hosting?
(A) No. We only provide Linux hosting (no ASP, JSP, etc).

(Q) Do you offer "unlimited bandwidth?
(A) There is no such thing as unmetered or "unlimited" bandwidth. Unfortunately, some hosts are still employing this deceitful tactic in order to entice new users to their service.

(Q) Can I upgrade/Downgrade my account later?
(A) Absolutely. Just fill out a ticket at the Help Desk and include your account information. Please understand that we cannot pro-rate.

(Q) Can I purchase more space or bandwidth if I need it later?
(A) Yes. Just fill out a ticket at the Help Desk and include your account information along with the amount of extra disk space and/or bandwidth you need.

(Q) Are you forum-friendly?
(A) Yes. Each account comes with PhpBB2 and Invision Board which can be installed automatically from your control panel (or Fantastico). You'll also find quite a number of other preinstalled scripts and goodies -or- you are welcome to install one of your own. There are only a few forums and other scripts that have unfortunately been banned due to the amount of resources they consume. A list of them can be found in our TOS section.

(Q) Why do you use a third-party payment processor (ie; PayPal)?
(A) PayPal is a reliable, secure, safe and well-know credit card processor. By using them for payment processing, we are able to eliminate the up front costs associated with processing the payments ourselves. What is of far greater concern are companies who process their own payments and have access to your credit card information.

(Q) Why don't you offer phone support?
(A) Phone centers and the operators to run them cost a lot of money and we would have to pass this expense onto our customers which would mean an increase in our rates. Telephone support can also be awkward and cumbersome and there is no document to refer back to after the conversation. We do offer a number of venues for support such as Live support and our Help Desk.
